Welding
All Welders are qualified in accordance with ASME Code Section IX as a minimum, and all materials used are traceable to their source in accordance with ASME requirements.
Machining
All machine tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, etc. are calibrated and records are kept in a log for quality assurance purposes.
Documentation
Each completed project receives a quality assurance document package which typically contains the following;
- Certificate of Conformance
- Testing Certifications (If the product requires testing)
- Applicable Weld Certifications
- Applicable Weld Procedures
- Material Mill Test Reports
- Reference Drawings
How do we maintain our quality assurance program?
We have a full time employed Certified Welding Inspector whom is in the role of Quality Assurance Manager. The QA Manager handles functions such as regular training sessions, safety and quality audits, as well as 100% visual inspections.
Regular certification and re-certification is required for all employees performing critical or specialized functions such as:
- Welding
- Pressure Testing
- Brazing
- Potting
- Leak Testing
- Non Destructive Testing
- Inspection
In addition to fabrication quality assurance, we also perform regular audits of our engineering and sales processes for best practices.
Quality Assurance Qualifications
AET’s comprehensive Quality program meets or conforms to the requirements of:
- ASME Section VIII Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code for Unfired Pressure vessels

Nondestructive Testing is performed in accordance with:
